Feel the cold arrive over the sand.
The desert gives back its heat quickly, and the dark turns clean and sharp.
Notice how much is revealed in a place with nothing to hide behind.
Only at night does the summer desert soften enough to move.

Listen for what God may be saying through Scripture, creation, and the present moment.
